How does laser for smoking work?
Low level laser therapy for smoking makes kicking the
habit very easy. The laser is pointed at various points on the
ears, the face, the wrists and the hands. This releases
endorphins in your body. Endorphins are your body's natural
"feel good" chemicals. This mimics the effects that nicotine
provides so that your body does not go through any physical
withdrawal symptoms as you normally would when quitting cold turkey.
Nicotine
can change the endorphin cycle in your body so that you have a
difficult time feeling well unless you ingest nicotine, regardless
of the type (cigarettes, chewing tobacco, cigars, etc...). The high
that you experience from nicotine diminishes fast. The
more time that passes, endorphin levels body dip below what they
would normally be, and the smoker starts to feel extremely upset,
stressed out, tired and anxious anxious for more nicotine. When you
ingest more nicotine again, the endorphin levels rise up to a level
where you feel good again. This is a continuous cycle that happens
again and again. This is your addiction to nicotine. This is
why it can be so difficult to quit smoking or dipping.
Low level Laser
therapy helps you to eliminate the nicotine from your system while avoiding the
horrible withdrawals and cravings that normally happen when you
attempt to quit smoking. The laser naturally stimulates your body to release
endorphins over a long period of time. Nicotine leaves your system
in 3 to 5 days from the day that you stop smoking the last
cigarette, dip the last dip, chew the last chew or smoke the last
cigar. HLC provides a total of 3 treatments to eliminate
cravings and help you to quit tobacco naturally.
You can quit tobacco with low level laser
After the nicotine
has been eliminated from your system after 3-5 days the withdrawal
symptoms will be purely behavorial. During your treatment, Healing
Laser Clinics staff will help you to identify your smoking triggers
and teach you how to avoid them. They will also discuss how to
flush the nicotine from your system with water and how to properly
detoxify your system including some tips for appetite suppression
and proper diet after the therapy. There are many foods that
can induce nicotine cravings.
Low level laser therapy is proving
to be a significant treatment for many medical conditions. Low Level Laser Therapy is
currently approved by the FDA to treat carpal tunnel syndrome and is
now being reviewed by the FDA to determine it's effectiveness for treating smoking addiction.
Healing Laser Clinics is part of an IRB
(investigational review board) and reports it's success rate of
applicants to the IRB.
When you are treated with the
laser, we will ask that you first fill out a medical history form to
ensure that you qualify for therapy. HLC currently cannot
treat a client that has active cancer, is pregnant or taking
steroids. If you have epilepsy or a thyroid condition, please
inform your technician so that we can treat you with the proper
therapy.
After your medical form and consent
form are reviewed, we will sit with you and identify your smoking
triggers. We will review our folder that contains all of the
required info regarding drinking water, taking vitamins and
detoxifying your body after treatment. Each session is
tailored to each and every individual client. After your
treatment is finished, you will be given safety glasses and the low
level laser will be applied. The therapy is extremely relaxing
and you may end up falling asleep during the treatment.
Laser Therapy has been used in
Europe and Canada for over 30 years and is now under clinical trials
in the U.S. Our clinic has helped thousands of clients to quit
smoking, quit dipping, lose weight and destress.
